Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have come together to sign the Air Services Agreement (ASA), aiming to supercharge their partnership in the aviation realm.
Putting pen to paper were Khaqan Murtaza, Director General of Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and Abdul Aziz Al Duailej, President of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). These two representatives acted on behalf of their respective governments.
The signing event was graced by various prominent figures, including Farhat Hussain Malik, the Caretaker Adviser to the Prime Minister for Aviation, along with Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Aneeq Ahmed, Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs, Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Maliki, the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, and several other officials from both nations.
This pivotal agreement sets the stage for enhanced collaboration in the aviation sector between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Beyond just strengthening trade ties, this aviation partnership holds the promise of igniting economic growth opportunities for both countries.
